Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a respected, fast-growing, family-owned company that operates over 60 senior living communities nationwide. With a strong foundation rooted in core values such as Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence, RLC is dedicated to creating vibrant, supportive, and comfortable environments where seniors can thrive. The company fosters a culture guided by four essential goals: happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. This commitment ensures that the communities it manages are not only places to live but also places where meaningful connections and quality experiences are nurtured and valued. RLC’s resort-style communities offer a beautiful and supportive environment, making it a rewarding workplace for those who are passionate about serving seniors and making a difference in their lives.
The Dining Room Supervisor position at Resort Lifestyle Communities is a pivotal role focused on delivering an exceptional dining experience to residents and guests. As a key member of the community leadership team, the Dining Room Supervisor leads by example by actively participating as a lead server during meal periods. This role is much more than managing food service; it is about creating moments of meaningful connection during dining, ensuring each meal transcends fulfilling basic nutrition to become an experience filled with care and respect.
In this role, you will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, and coaching the server team in collaboration with Community Managers and Executive Chefs. You will ensure dining room cleanliness, organization, and adherence to operational standards as outlined in the RLC Operations Guide. This includes monitoring and maintaining the Chef’s Pantry and Bistro to ensure freshness and impeccable presentation. Leading quality dining service and ensuring resident satisfaction are at the core of this role, including personally welcoming new residents and overseeing room service operations.
You will also actively participate in community leadership meetings, collaborating with diverse teams to address resident needs, plan events, and support the overall goals of the community. This position demands flexibility, a servant leadership mindset, and a passion for excellence in hospitality and senior care. Previous service leadership experience, basic Microsoft Office skills, and food safety certifications like ServSafe Manager or Food Handlers permit are required or must be obtained after hire.
RLC offers full-time employees competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits including a benefit stipend to allocate toward health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage options. Additional perks include paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and convenient pay access options. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to bring their servant heart to a fast-paced, family-oriented, and purpose-driven company where every action contributes directly to enriching seniors' lives.
