Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a premier senior living organization that stands out for its commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors by providing exceptional care and services in a warm, inviting, resort-style environment. With over 60 communities nationwide, RLC combines the comforts of home with the luxury of resort living, creating a vibrant and supportive atmosphere where seniors can thrive. Established as a family-owned and fast-growing company, it prides itself on fostering a close-knit, servant-hearted culture shaped by core values such as respect, honesty, kindness, compassion, and service excellence. This dedication to core principles ensures that both employees and residents enjoy a high-quality experience marked by dignity, care, and a strong sense of community. RLC is guided by four essential goals: maintaining happy employees, ensuring happy residents, achieving full occupancy, and operating on budget. These strategic pillars drive every aspect of their operations and business growth, marrying financial sustainability with empathetic service delivery. Joining RLC means becoming part of a team focused not just on tasks but on creating meaningful moments and connections that enrich lives daily.
The Dining Room Supervisor role at RLC is an opportunity to lead with heart and hands in a dynamic setting dedicated to senior dining excellence. This full-time leadership position requires an individual who thrives in a people-first environment and understands that dining is much more than just the food served; it is a crucial touchpoint for residents' well-being and enjoyment. The Dining Room Supervisor is an active lead server during meal times, ensuring every dining interaction reflects the highest standards of quality and service. As a vital member of the community’s leadership team, the supervisor helps shape the overall culture and operational effectiveness, contributing directly to the resident experience and satisfaction. Responsibilities include hiring, training, and coaching service staff; maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining areas; managing inventory and presentation of food service stations; and fostering a warm, welcoming ambiance that promotes resident engagement and comfort.
Candidates for this role should be 21 years or older and possess flexibility to work Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with additional hours for special events and holidays. Prior service leadership experience is highly valued, alongside basic Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel and Outlook). Certification requirements include obtaining or holding a ServSafe Manager food safety certification within 90 days of hire, along with a valid Food Handlers permit as mandated by local regulations. The position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a $341 benefit stipend per pay period that can be applied toward health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and other financial protection options. Paid time off and a 401(k) plan with employer match also provide meaningful support for employee well-being and future planning.
Working at RLC means joining a mission-driven company that values servant leadership and the power of hospitality to make a positive difference. Employees are supported by strong leadership in a beautiful setting that inspires excellence and community connection. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about enriching the lives of seniors through intentional service and leadership. If you want to contribute your skills in a rewarding environment where your efforts create lasting impact, the Dining Room Supervisor position at Resort Lifestyle Communities invites you to apply and lead with heart every day.
