Job Description

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a leading provider in the senior living industry, dedicated to creating vibrant, resort-style communities that offer a high quality of life for seniors across the United States. As a fast-growing, family-owned company with over 60 communities nationwide, RLC prides itself on its servant-hearted culture, emphasizing core values such as Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence. At RLC, the focus is not only on providing excellent senior care but also on fostering happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations, which together drive the success and sustainability of the company.

The opportunity at hand is for a Dining Room Supervisor position, a vital leadership role within the dining services team at Resort Lifestyle Communities. This role is a unique blend of hands-on service responsibilities and supervisory duties, making it ideal for those passionate about hospitality and dedicated to enhancing the daily lives of seniors through exceptional dining experiences. The Dining Room Supervisor actively leads meal periods, working closely with a team of servers to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness standards are met or exceeded. This position is not just about serving food but about creating meaningful moments of connection for residents and guests, positioning dining as a central part of the community experience.

As part of the community leadership team, the Dining Room Supervisor collaborates with managers and chefs to recruit, onboard, and train servers, while also supporting team development and balancing labor models efficiently. This leadership role requires keen attention to detail, facilitation of smooth dining operations, and proactive communication within the community to address resident needs and support business objectives. The work schedule primarily covers Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with essential flexibility for special events and holidays.

This position demands not only service and organizational skills but also a commitment to safety and compliance, as candidates must obtain food safety certification through ServSafe® Manager within 90 days and a Food Handlers permit as required. Alongside professional growth and leadership opportunities, RLC offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, and retirement plans with employer matching.

Joining Resort Lifestyle Communities means becoming part of a purpose-driven organization where every day offers the chance to make a positive impact on seniors' lives through heartfelt service. The company's supportive leadership and beautiful resort-style environments create an inviting workplace where team members thrive and residents feel genuinely cared for. This role is perfect for those who wish to lead with heart and dedication, contributing to a welcoming community atmosphere integrated with excellent hospitality practices.
