Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to participate in training and mandatory meetings
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstration of our core values: love, kindness, honesty, goodness, fairness, respect
  • Previous experience in the dietary department of a health care facility or restaurant preferred, but not required
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Knowledge of and ability to meet regulations of ADA, state, infection and control, health department, and OSHA

Job Duties

  • Be present in dining room for full meal service
  • Assist special functions as scheduled
  • Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and a sanitary and infection free environment at all times
  • Oversight of bistro areas as directed - food presentation, cleanliness, stock supplies, beverages, make popcorn, etc
  • Know the specials of the day and how they are prepared and presented
  • Learn individual resident names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes
  • Must serve hot food hot and cold food cold
  • As directed, participate in the Quality Assurance Committee
  • Sanitize tables and chairs, reset tables, and vacuum floor after each meal
  • Attend all trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings
