Job Description

Prestige Estates Assisted Living & Memory Care is a family-owned and operated senior living community located in Tyler, Texas. Established in 2007, Prestige Estates has built a strong reputation as the only privately owned assisted living and memory care facility in East Texas, focusing on personalized care and a resident-first approach. The company prides itself on creating an environment where compassion leads and lives are transformed, offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a focus on dignity, respect, and genuine care for their residents. The team at Prestige Estates believes that a supportive, positive workplace culture is key to delivering exceptional services, which is reflected in how they value their employees as part of their extended family.

This position is for a full-time Dining Room Server role, with a consistent weekday and weekend schedule, including shifts from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Starting pay is $14.00 per hour. The role goes beyond simply serving meals; it is an opportunity to provide exceptional hospitality and create meaningful dining experiences for the residents. The Dining Room Server plays a vital part in the community by helping to create a restaurant-style dining atmosphere where residents enjoy their meals in a comfortable, respectful, and caring setting. They are the welcoming face of the community, responsible for making every meal a moment of connection and comfort.

In this role, you will be expected to serve meals with professionalism, warmth, and kindness while building relationships with residents, their families, and guests. You will assist in setting up and maintaining the dining room’s ambiance and cleanliness and collaborate closely with the Culinary Services Team and Care Team to ensure a seamless dining experience. A strong emphasis is placed on hospitality, excellent customer service, food safety, sanitation, infection control, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate is someone who serves from the heart — dependable, friendly, and attentive to every detail. They are compassionate, patient, and actively contribute to a positive and encouraging workplace. This role offers an enriching opportunity for those who are passionate about serving older adults, who want to make each dining experience enjoyable and meaningful, and who take pride in their work and the joy they bring to others.

Joining Prestige Estates means becoming part of a close-knit team that works hard, laughs often, and supports one another. The organization emphasizes growth and advancement opportunities and offers benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, employer-paid life insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, and more. The Dining Room Server position is ideal for individuals who value making a difference, have a desire to deliver compassionate care, and want to thrive in a community that truly values kindness and hospitality.
