The role of a Server at Plymouth Place is vital in delivering an exceptional dining experience to residents, characterized by friendly, efficient, and attentive service in a restaurant-style atmosphere. This part-time position offers flexible shifts from Monday through Saturday evenings and Sunday mid-mornings to mid-afternoons. The Server acts as the face of the hospitality services within multiple venues, ensuring that each meal is served with care and professionalism. Responsibilities include setting and maintaining clean and properly arranged tables, serving food and beverages, providing meal information, and responding to resident needs promptly and courteously. The Server must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent communication and organizational skills while maintaining a polite and friendly demeanor.

Job Qualifications
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
- High school diploma preferred but not required
- Minimum age requirement is 16 years old
- Minimum one-year experience in a food server role preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to multi-task with good organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Dependable, reliable, and motivated
Job Duties
- Efficiently serve food and beverages to tables for restaurant style service
- Handle all service ware correctly
- Accurately provide information about the meal presented, including offering suggestions and answering questions
- Observe diners to fulfill any additional requests and monitor meal completion
- Remove dishes during and after the meal to maintain sanitation standards
- Wash and set up tables according to etiquette rules, including clean linen, silverware, and glassware
- Check cleanliness of chairs and condiments prior to service
- Restock supplies before meal service
- Initiate and participate in cross training for host/hostess and serving roles
- Complete all side work efficiently before, during, and after meal service
- Clean and sanitize storage, refrigeration, equipment, utensils, and waste containers as assigned
- Participate in catering set-up, service, and clean-up
- Use point-of-sale systems confidently and efficiently
- Deliver food ensuring quality dining experience
- Take down dining areas, clean tables, stock ingredients and monitor inventory levels
- Clean food stations and other areas as required
