This acclaim reflects the company’s effort to foster an inclusive and supportive workplace where employees feel valued and empowered.
The role of Dining Room Server at Anchor Bay - East Providence is integral to the community’s mission to offer an exceptional dining experience to its senior residents. As a member of the dining team, the server is responsible for welcoming residents and guests warmly during meal times, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction with the service provided. This position involves taking orders from a selective menu with care and attention to individual preferences and dietary requirements. Beyond serving meals, Dining Room Servers assist with setting up tables before meals, clearing them afterward, and resetting the dining area to maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere. Team members in this role operate in an environment that values safety, respect, and genuine connection, reflecting the company’s core principles. This is a part-time position with pay rates starting at $16 per hour.
Employees benefit from a comprehensive standard benefits program commencing from the date of hire. Benefits include paid time off, holiday pay, health insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield, dental and vision insurance, disability coverage, complimentary life insurance, and a pre-tax retirement savings plan with company matching contributions. Additionally, Anchor Bay offers numerous perks and incentives such as diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives encouraging all associates to share their ideas; generous referral bonuses; retail discounts covering a variety of services such as cellphone plans, pet insurance, home and auto insurance, travel, and more. Associates have access to Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to help offset medical expenses. The employer also supports continuing education and professional development, including certification opportunities to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Commuter benefits such as pre-tax savings on public transportation and parking are also included, along with reduced meal costs during scheduled shifts. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are reliable, enjoy working with seniors, and want to be part of a highly respected organization that prioritizes an inclusive and supportive culture.
