Job Description

Dial is a dedicated senior living community that emphasizes creating a family-like environment for its residents and team members. The organization fosters a culture where every team member has the opportunity to learn from experienced seniors and contribute to enhancing the quality of life for older adults. Dial is committed to infusing happiness into the lives of those they serve daily, making a meaningful difference by adding life to the years of their residents, not just years to their lives. This approach ensures that employees not only gain valuable experience but also develop a genuine connection with the people they serve, making their work rewarding and impactful.

The position available at Dial involves assisting with meal service and dining area maintenance, making it a critical role in the day-to-day operations that directly impact residents' dining experience. This role requires a compassionate, attentive, and customer-focused individual who will serve and interact with residents in a manner that promotes their comfort and satisfaction during meals. Responsibilities include taking and closing out meal orders, serving food and beverages, bussing and clearing tables, setting and resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining room, including vacuuming after meals. The ability to recognize residents by name and understand their food and beverage preferences is essential for delivering personalized service.

Candidates for this role must be at least 16 years of age and possess the ability to read, write, and comprehend English. The job demands physical activity, including standing, walking, and moving about for shifts of 3 to 3.75 hours. Prior food service experience is preferred but not mandatory, with an emphasis on a willingness to learn and help others. This position is ideal for those who enjoy working with older adults and desire to contribute positively to their community’s well-being.

Dial offers a comprehensive benefits package aimed at supporting employees both personally and professionally. These benefits include paid time off for birthdays and anniversaries, tuition assistance, double pay on holidays, and PTO accrual starting from the first day of employment. Additional perks include referral bonuses, free meals during shifts, loyalty incentives, employee recognition programs, discounts with major telecom providers like Verizon and AT&T, and a pay advance program. Health benefits cover medical and prescription drug insurance, dental and vision plans, as well as basic term life and AD&D insurance. This extensive benefits package reflects Dial’s commitment to valuing and supporting its team members as integral parts of the community they serve.
