Job Description

Dial is a dedicated elder care community that prides itself on fostering a welcoming, supportive, and enriching environment for both its residents and team members. At Dial, the focus extends beyond basic care to enhancing the quality of life for seniors by creating a family-like atmosphere where happiness and comfort are paramount. As a leader in senior living services, Dial provides its staff with extensive opportunities for professional growth and the unique experience of forming meaningful connections with residents. The company values teamwork and excellence, encouraging employees to learn from experienced seniors and contribute to a culture that adds life to residents' years as much as years to their lives.

The position being offered is integral to the dining services team. It entails assisting with meal service, including serving meals and beverages, bussing tables, and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the dining area. This role is crucial in delivering a positive dining experience that supports residents' well-being and satisfaction. Successful candidates will exhibit patience, a customer-focused attitude, and a willingness to work closely with older adults, fostering an atmosphere of respect and care. The role involves direct interaction with residents, taking and processing orders using Dial's point of sale system, setting and clearing tables, and maintaining beverage service throughout meal times.

Employee well-being and satisfaction are a core part of Dial's ethos. The community offers a variety of perks and benefits such as paid time off on birthdays and anniversaries, tuition assistance, and double pay on holidays. Additional benefits include immediate PTO accrual, referral bonuses, free meals during shifts, loyalty incentives, and employee recognition programs. Employees also receive discounts with well-known providers like Verizon and AT&T, access to a pay advance program, comprehensive medical and prescription drug insurance (including dental and vision coverage), and basic term life and AD&D insurance. This comprehensive benefits package reflects Dial's commitment to supporting both the professional and personal needs of its team.

This role is ideally suited for individuals aged 16 and older, who possess the physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts lasting approximately three to three and three-quarter hours. The position requires effective communication skills in English, basic knowledge or willingness to learn the operation of kitchen appliances, and a collaborative spirit to promote teamwork. Preferred candidates will also have some prior food service experience and demonstrate a genuine enjoyment in working with older adults. By joining Dial's dining services team, employees become vital contributors to a community focused on delivering compassionate, high-quality care and an exceptional dining experience.
