The role available at Dial involves essential dining service responsibilities that are crucial to the residents' dining experience. It is a position centered around serving meals and beverages to residents, assisting them throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction and comfort. In addition, the role requires bussing tables and keeping the dining area clean and orderly, which contributes to a pleasant dining environment. Employees in this position will use the Dial designated point of sale system to take and close out orders, demonstrating a blend of interpersonal and technical skills. Throughout each shift, the employee must maintain a high level of customer service, friendly engagement, and attentiveness to the residents' preferences and dietary needs. Key duties include taking orders, setting and resetting tables, preparing beverages, and bussing tables promptly. The position emphasizes confidentiality, professionalism, and safety, ensuring that injuries are reported timely and that sensitive information about residents is protected.

Job Requirements
- Must be age 16 or older
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language
- Promote teamwork in providing services to residents
- Patience and a customer-focused attitude
- Operation of basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn
- Willingness to learn and help others
- Enjoyment in working with older adults
- Some experience in food service is preferred
Job Duties
- Serve residents meals, take orders, and assist residents throughout all aspects of the dining experience
- Take all orders and close out orders within the Dial designated point of sale system
- Provide customer service to residents to allow high level of resident satisfaction while serving meals
- Set tables for upcoming meals and reset for the following meal
- Inform residents what foods are available on the day's menu
- Address residents by name and their food beverage likes and dislikes
- Prepare beverages before meals and serve beverage of choice to each resident
- Keep water glasses and coffee cups and/or carafes filled
- Clear tables, as needed, throughout meal and bus tables after the meal is finished
- Vacuum carpet in the dining room after each meal
- Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, community operations and personnel
- Report any on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs
- Other duties as assigned
