The part-time Dining Room Server role at Belmont Village Senior Living provides an important service within the Assisted Living community, helping ensure residents enjoy a warm and welcoming dining experience. Scheduled for Saturday and Sunday from 4 PM to 8 PM, this position is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality and eager to make a positive difference in seniors’ lives. As a dining room server, you will work closely with the Dining Room Coordinator and fellow servers to provide attentive, hands-on service, creating an atmosphere that combines professionalism with genuine care.

This role is fast-paced and physically active, requiring strong multitasking skills, effective communication, and an empathetic approach. Responsibilities involve taking accurate orders, offering menu suggestions, ensuring food and beverages are delivered promptly and at proper temperature, and maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the dining room. You will also assist with special event meal service throughout the Belmont Village community, contributing to the celebration and enhancement of residents’ lives. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented position
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age

Job Duties

  • Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy
  • Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready
  • Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal
