Job Duties
- Prepare excellent food and baked goods according to a set menu
- Generate a report to verify daily transactions and meal planning efforts
- Familiarize yourself with the meal components to guarantee their completeness
- Ensure that food is stored in a sanitary manner to prevent bacterial growth and foodborne illnesses
- Serve food to patrons following meal schedules and established departmental policies
- Use and maintain culinary devices safely, especially blades
- Guarantee the quick preparation of a variety of food items and drinks
- Enhance dish presentation with garnishments to increase customer satisfaction
- Assist in the upkeep of cleanliness for refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking and serving appliances
- Ensure compliance with food safety rules, including sanitation, safe handling, and storage
- Maintain conformity with dress code policies
- Communicate menu details with management for accurate preparation
- Monitor and manage food temperature to prevent hazards
- Keep work and storage areas clean and organized
- Sanitize work areas including steam tables, counters, and equipment
- Perform general cleaning duties like sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- Maintain cleanliness of garbage collection sites and kitchen floors
- Undertake alternate assignments as directed, supporting different kitchen areas
