The company follows a "personal touch" philosophy that emphasizes getting to know each resident closely and delivering care that goes above and beyond typical expectations. Guided by six core values—be loving, choose wisely, perform together, act boldly, express gratitude, and mind the store—Legacy House creates a welcoming atmosphere that promotes independence, happiness, and health for its residents. Employees at Legacy House are viewed as part of a family where collaboration, dedication, and trustworthiness are key to fostering strong relationships with both residents and co-workers. This supportive and friendly work environment sets the foundation for outstanding service and care.
Legacy House is hiring for a full-time or part-time Dining Room Server position, primarily working morning shifts, in Spanish Fork, Utah. This entry-level role is ideal for high school students, teens, or anyone looking to gain experience in the food service industry while contributing to the well-being and enjoyment of senior living residents. The hourly wage is competitive at $12 to $14 per hour, making it a financially rewarding opportunity for an entry-level job. In addition to pay, the position offers several appealing benefits including an annual Lagoon day for staff, company parties, and for full-time employees, additional perks such as medical and dental insurance, 12 days of paid time off (PTO), two weeks of paid vacation, a 401(k) plan with company match, and a health savings account (HSA) with match.
As a dining room server at Legacy House, the role involves more than just serving food—it means bringing a smile and positive atmosphere to the residents during their meals. You will take meal orders, serve food and beverages, assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the dining area, and work closely with your food service team members to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a social, service-driven setting that builds interpersonal skills, teamwork, and responsibility.
There is no prior experience required for this position, reflecting the company’s commitment to training and supporting new employees in learning on the job. This makes it an excellent entry point for young individuals eager to start building their careers and those who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of senior community members. Legacy House prides itself on fostering a work culture where employees feel appreciated, supported, and part of a greater mission, creating a sense of belonging and pride.
Overall, this Dining Room Server role at Legacy House offers a unique blend of professional development, competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and an opportunity to work in a positive, family-oriented workplace that values kindness, dedication, and teamwork.
