Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated Dietary Aide to join our Dining Services team. This role is vital in supporting all dietary functions as instructed by the management team. The Dietary Aide will be responsible for assisting in meal service, maintaining cleanliness in production and dining areas, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The position involves setting tables, serving meals to residents, bussing tables, washing dishes, and keeping kitchen equipment and storage areas clean. A key part of the job also includes disposing of garbage properly and adhering strictly to policies and procedures. Job Duties

  • Serve meals to the residents and set the table in the dining rooms
  • Maintain cleanliness of production areas including but not limited to vents, fryers, flattop, range, steamers, ovens, refrigerators, coolers, and storage areas
  • Bus dining room as needed and send dishes through the dishwashing machine
  • Wash pots and pans as needed
  • Put clean dishes away in appropriate places
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed
  • Dispose of garbage appropriately
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates
