Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum of three years of restaurant or senior living dining management experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Knowledge of fine dining service standards
- ServSafe Certification preferred or ability to obtain
- Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching, and carrying service items
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum of three years of management experience in restaurant or senior living dining settings
- Previous supervisory experience
- Knowledge of fine dining service standards
- ServSafe Certification or the ability to obtain

Job Duties
- Supervise, coach, and develop dining room servers, hosts, beverage attendants, and utility staff
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new front-of-house employees
- Prepare and manage employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching
- Monitor attendance, appearance, and adherence to company policies
- Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment
- Ensure every resident receives prompt, courteous, and personalized service
- Build relationships with residents by learning preferences, dietary needs, and special requests
- Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally
- Visit dining rooms throughout meal service to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues immediately
- Support special events, holiday meals, family functions, and community celebrations
- Oversee all meal periods to ensure efficient, high-quality service
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and presentation of dining rooms
- Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation before service
- Coordinate communication between the kitchen and dining room staff
- Ensure proper service techniques, including serving from the correct side, clearing appropriately, and maintaining professional etiquette
- Monitor inventory of china, glassware, flatware, linens, and service supplies
- Train staff on hospitality standards, customer service, infection prevention, food safety, and resident rights
- Conduct routine service observations and provide immediate feedback
- Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate menus, resident updates, special diets, and daily expectations
- Maintain standardized service procedures and ensure consistency across all meal periods
