This leadership position carries responsibility for the overall guest experience by ensuring consistent service standards and operational efficiency throughout the dining room and bar areas. The manager is accountable for maintaining a positive morale among staff, supporting team growth through mentorship and training, and fostering a culture of ownership and excellence. This role requires a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of fine dining service and beverage management, including wine and spirits knowledge.

Operational management is a critical component of the position, encompassing reservation management, seating arrangements, clean facility maintenance, and inventory control for consumables and supplies. The Dining Room Manager also manages labor scheduling to meet guest volume demands and labor budget targets, demonstrating strategic planning ability. The individual must communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization to ensure that team members understand company-wide initiatives and policies. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on feet for extended periods are also required. The work environment includes dining room, bar, and kitchen areas, with occasional exposure to all weather conditions.
