Job Description

River Crest Country Club is a prestigious and historic private club located just five miles from downtown Fort Worth, Texas. Known as Fort Worth's oldest and most storied country club, River Crest offers its members a distinguished experience with exquisite dining, top-notch recreational facilities, and a welcoming social environment. The club prides itself on maintaining a tradition of excellence and creating memorable experiences for its members through outstanding service, exceptional amenities, and a vibrant community spirit. The club's dining venues are a central part of this experience, providing members with a variety of culinary options in an elegant setting that complements the club's refined ambiance.

The Dining Room Manager position at River Crest Country Club plays a vital role within the Food and Beverage Management team. This role is all about leading front-of-house dining operations across multiple venues, ensuring that every member's dining experience is exceptional and aligned with the club’s high service standards. This hands-on position requires a manager who can not only oversee daily operational activities but also develop and support the front-of-house staff, fostering an environment that promotes professional growth and superior member engagement.

As Dining Room Manager, you will assist with recruiting, training, scheduling, and evaluating service personnel to build a knowledgeable and efficient team. Your leadership will be paramount in maintaining consistency in service quality, managing member concerns promptly and professionally, and ensuring seamless communication between the front and back of the house. This position demands strong operational awareness, attention to detail, and an ability to handle multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic hospitality setting.

The role also involves supporting the club's dining revenue goals and maintaining alignment with broader River Crest initiatives. By collaborating with other departments, you will help facilitate smooth daily operations and successful special events that contribute to the club’s overall member satisfaction and financial performance. Typical events you'll oversee include large club-wide golf tournaments, the annual Steeplechase, and key holiday celebrations like Halloween, Easter, Mother's Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

River Crest Country Club offers a competitive salary supplemented by participation in the annual Management Bonus Program. The comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans, as well as YMCA memberships and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). Benefits eligibility begins the first of the month following 60 days of employment, with paid time off (PTO) and participation in a 401(k) retirement plan available to full-time staff. Working conditions demand a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and require a professional appearance and courteous, respectful interaction with members, guests, and team members alike.

Joining River Crest Country Club as a Dining Room Manager offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a storied institution that values quality, tradition, and member service. If you are a service-driven leader with a passion for hospitality and experience in managing dining operations within country clubs, hotels, or restaurants, this role is perfect for you. Your contribution will directly impact the enjoyment and satisfaction of the club’s esteemed membership, supporting the River Crest vision of providing an unparalleled social and dining experience in the Fort Worth area.
