The Dining Room Manager position at Arrow Senior Living, located at 785 Henry Avenue, Ballwin, MO, is a full-time role with a pay range of $19 - $22.25 per hour. This role offers a shift schedule from Tuesday through Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Dining Room Manager is integral in maintaining the dining environment's warmth and efficiency, ensuring that every resident receives impeccable service in a setting that feels like home. This role involves a mix of leadership, hospitality, preparation, and communication duties designed to promote resident satisfaction and well-being.

In this position, the Dining Room Manager takes on the responsibility of overseeing the dining room to keep it flawless and inviting. From greeting residents warmly to facilitating interactions among them, the Dining Room Manager creates a social and engaging atmosphere. Preparing the dining area and meals with precision and attention to detail is key, as is maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the dining space. The manager also acts as an observant and attentive team member, communicating any dietary changes or concerns about residents to supervisors and wellness teams, supporting the overall health and comfort of the community. This role requires a positive, energetic attitude and a genuine love for the residents, fostering connections that make meals more than just nourishment — they become moments of joy and connection.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Previous experience leading a hospitality team preferred
  • Knowledge of care and supervision requirements for residents
  • Must have and maintain a food server permit as required by the county
  • Must read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
  • Positive and energetic attitude who will love residents
  • Must be active and capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
  • Ability to frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and post-fall assistance
  • Must be criminally cleared
  • Must be in good physical and mental health with a health screening and tuberculosis test as required

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience leading a hospitality team preferred
  • Knowledge of care and supervision requirements for residents
  • Must have and maintain a food server permit
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at least at an 8th grade level
  • Positive and energetic attitude with a love for residents
  • Ability to assist residents physically
  • Criminal clearance
  • Good physical and mental health verified by a recent health screening
