Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing 25 to 100 pounds
- Physical capability to bend, kneel, and squat frequently to assist with food and beverage items
- Must be able to stand for extended periods (up to four hours) and maintain a good pace
- Effective communication skills to interact with supervisors, employees, and guests attentively
- Familiarity with operating point-of-sale equipment and serving food/beverage
- Willingness to work in varying temperature environments and withstand noise, odors, and other conditions typical in a restaurant setting

Job Duties
- Assist the manager on duty in organizing reservations and assigning guests to suitable tables and servers
- Answer the phone promptly and courteously, taking and confirming reservations accurately
- Greet and acknowledge arriving guests with a friendly demeanor, noting their names and informing the servers
- Guide guests to their designated table and present menus
- Manage the flow of seating by implementing rotation seating practices, anticipating table turnover, and adhering to the seating plan
- Provide estimated wait times to guests and maintain the waitlist, notifying the manager if delays occur
