Job Description

The position available is for a Dining Room Host/Hostess who reports directly to the Food and Beverage Supervisor. The Dining Room Host is responsible for delivering an inviting, polished, and professional welcome while managing the smooth flow of guests throughout the dining area. They precisely handle reservations, accommodate special requests, and uphold the restaurant's standards of hospitality and cleanliness.
This role requires a highly personable individual who can anticipate guests' needs, greet members by name, and ensure a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure. The Dining Room Host will maintain the host stand and front-of-house displays to project a clean and attractive image, assign table sections to servers, and coordinate activities of the dining staff to provide prompt and courteous service. Other essential duties include taking and relaying To-Go orders, reporting any concerns to management, and managing end-of-shift receipt and sales verification processes.
Offering a full-time schedule of 40 hours weekly, the position includes split shifts covering lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday, with the necessity to work weekends and holidays. The role compensates at $14 per hour and is based in a restaurant setting that may occasionally involve exposure to hot and humid conditions.
