The Dining Room Attendant role at Tesla Diner is a crucial position focused on maintaining cleanliness, organization, and superior guest comfort across all dining and common areas. This role supports the Tesla Diner guest experience through high standards of anticipatory service, taking proactive steps to address guest needs before they arise and ensuring a seamless dining environment. The Dining Room Attendant is responsible for regular sanitation of tables, chairs, and high-touch areas to comply with health and safety standards. They also conduct routine restroom inspections and support service stations during peak periods to maintain smooth operations.

This position involves prompt clearing and resetting of tables to facilitate quick seating transitions, waste management, and thorough end-of-shift cleaning to uphold facility standards. Additionally, the Dining Room Attendant assists in coordinating delivery orders and acts as a knowledgeable point of contact for guest inquiries, exemplifying Tesla’s dedication to exceptional customer service. Job Requirements

Minimum 18 years old
prior experience in a high-volume restaurant (FOH, BOH, or both) preferred
adaptable and proactive with a team-oriented attitude
ability to manage competing priorities efficiently without compromising service quality
friendly and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
basic menu and food allergy knowledge
quick learner who identifies and addresses potential service gaps before they impact the guest experience
ability to stand for extended periods
ability to lift up to 50 lbs
flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating 8-hour shifts

Job Duties

Regularly sanitize tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces throughout the shift to uphold cleanliness and health standards
conduct routine restroom inspections to ensure cleanliness and proper supply levels are consistently maintained
promptly clear, sanitize, and reset tables upon guest departure to ensure seamless seating transitions
provide cross-functional support to service stations during peak periods to maintain operational flow
proactively monitor and manage waste disposal to maintain a clean and presentable dining environment
execute a thorough end-of-shift deep cleaning checklist to uphold facility standards for the next service period
support delivery order coordination and serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for guest inquiries
