Job Description
Concord Hospitality Enterprises Company is a dedicated and thriving hotel management company that operates a portfolio of quality hotel properties across the United States. Known for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and fostering a positive work environment, Concord Hospitality stands as a leader in the hospitality industry. Emphasizing a culture founded on five cornerstone values: Quality, Integrity, Community, Profitability, and Fun, the company creates a workplace setting that encourages associates to thrive both professionally and personally. Concord is proud to promote an ‘Associate First’ philosophy that inspires personal development, teamwork, and career advancement, making it an ideal employer for those interested in long-term growth and success in hospitality.
We are currently hiring a Restaurant Attendant to join our Food and Beverage team at one of our hotel properties. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are service-minded and enjoy working with people in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The starting rate for this position is $12.00 per hour, and candidates with one year of fast casual dining or customer service experience are preferred, though training will be provided for those with the right attitude and desire to learn. The role requires flexibility to work morning, evening, and weekend shifts, highlighting the importance of being a team player committed to delivering memorable dining experiences to our guests and local patrons.
The Restaurant Attendant plays a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the dining areas by quickly clearing tables, resetting them with spotless service ware, and ensuring that all stations are well-stocked with the necessary items such as silverware, linen, and condiments. Beyond these essential duties, the Restaurant Attendant also engages directly with guests by greeting them courteously, serving beverages, bread, and butter, and replenishing these items as needed throughout their dining experience. In addition, the position involves transporting dirty tableware to the dishwashing area, ensuring the smooth operation of the dining service.
Supporting functions broaden the scope of the Restaurant Attendant’s responsibilities and include performing general cleaning tasks with standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health and safety standards, folding napkins, stocking condiments, handling spill clean-ups, and responding to special guest requests. The position may also require cross-training to support team flexibility and maintaining vigilance by reporting any suspicious activities to supervisors promptly. This comprehensive set of tasks underscores the importance of this role in upholding the high standards of service and cleanliness expected by Concord Hospitality.
Working at Concord offers several benefits for full-time associates, including eligibility for an extensive benefits package that covers medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability options, a 401K savings plan, tuition assistance, and discounted room rates at Concord-managed hotels. These perks, combined with robust training and development programs, create an environment where associates are supported in their career trajectories and encouraged to succeed.
Overall, the Restaurant Attendant position is perfect for optimistic, energetic individuals who thrive in team settings and have a passion for exceptional service. Joining Concord means becoming part of a company that values diversity, work-life balance, and strives to provide unmatched customer service and quality accommodations in every market where it operates. We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace and fostering an inclusive culture that supports personal and professional growth.
