This particular position is with a high-velocity restaurant located at 8701 World Center Drive in Orlando, Florida. The Busser position plays a critical part in maintaining the high standards Marriott is known for. Responsibilities include completing closing duties such as storing reusable goods, breaking down and cleaning equipment, restocking items, and locking down the premises securely. During shifts, bussers ensure that their work areas remain clean and organized, practice clean-as-you-go procedures, and inspect all china, glassware, and silverware to meet cleanliness and presentation standards. Safety is paramount, and the busser must adhere strictly to company policies, report any unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
Effective communication and professionalism are essential traits for this role. Bussers greet guests warmly, answer telephones courteously, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. The position requires physical stamina to stand, sit, or walk throughout the shift and the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The busser must also demonstrate flexibility by performing various duties as requested by supervisors.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to stand walk or sit for long periods
- Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds
- Must follow all safety and security procedures

Job Duties
- Complete closing duties including storing reusable goods breaking down equipment cleaning and restocking items
- Set up stock and maintain work areas throughout shifts
- Inspect cleanliness and presentation of china glass and silverware prior to use
- Maintain cleanliness using clean-as-you-go procedures during the day
- Follow all safety and security policies report hazards and complete safety training
- Welcome and acknowledge guests with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform physical tasks including lifting carrying pushing pulling items up to 50 pounds and navigating various surfaces
