The position available is a Seasonal Food and Beverage role based at the JW Marriott hotel located at 2000 2nd St, Coronado, California. This is a full-time, non-management position offering a competitive pay rate of $24.30 per hour plus eligibility for tips. The role is designed for individuals who thrive in dynamic, customer-facing environments and are passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest interaction.

The main responsibility of this role involves completing closing tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the food and beverage areas. Key duties include storing reusable merchandise, dismantling setups, cleaning all equipment and areas, securing refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklists. Additionally, the employee will organize and maintain work areas, inspect the cleanliness and presentation of porcelain, glassware, and silverware before use, and adhere to constant cleaning protocols throughout the day.

Beyond these operational tasks, the role requires strict compliance with company safety policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and completing necessary safety training and certifications. Employees must maintain a professional appearance and uniform, protect company information and assets, and support colleagues with a respectful and cooperative attitude. Physical demands include lifting, moving, and handling objects up to 50 pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, and navigating various surfaces and stairs.

Effective communication is essential, as employees are expected to interact courteously with guests and colleagues, as well as answer phone calls professionally. Additional reasonable work duties may be assigned by supervisors as needed.
