This full-time, non-management Food and Beverage role is based at the JW Marriott property at 160 Central Park South in New York City, a prime location known for its vibrant hospitality scene. The hourly wage for this position ranges from $29.40 to $39.20, reflecting the premium nature of service expected in a luxury hotel environment. The primary responsibility of the role involves executing comprehensive closing duties essential to maintaining the impeccable standards of the establishment. This includes tasks such as securely storing reusable goods, dismantling and cleaning equipment, restocking necessary items, and ensuring all food service and safety protocols are strictly adhered to after daily operations conclude.

Beyond closing routines, the role requires maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the shift, practicing a clean-as-you-go approach to ensure that all work areas remain sanitary and presentable. Attention to detail is paramount, as the candidate must inspect all serving ware including china, glass, and silver to confirm they meet the high standards of presentation before use. Safety and security are critical priorities within the hotel, with expectations for diligent adherence to company policies, reporting of any unsafe conditions, and completion of requisite safety training and certifications.
