The position available is a full-time, non-management Food and Beverage role located at the JW Marriott property at 160 Central Park South in New York, New York. This role offers an hourly pay range of $29.40 to $39.20, reflecting the value placed on skilled and dedicated team members. The role entails a variety of responsibilities pivotal to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, organization, and customer satisfaction synonymous with the JW Marriott brand.

In this role, the employee will be responsible for completing closing duties such as properly storing reusable merchandise, dismantling merchandise displays, cleaning equipment and work areas, securely locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, and ensuring all doors are locked. Daily cleaning checklists must be completed to uphold hygiene standards. The employee will organize, stock, and maintain work areas throughout the shift, carefully inspect the cleanliness and presentation of porcelain, glassware, and silverware before use, and ensure ongoing cleanliness through consistent cleaning procedures during the workday.

Safety and professionalism are critical aspects of this position. The employee must adhere to company safety policies and procedures, report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly, and complete required training and safety certifications. A clean and professional uniform and appearance are expected at all times, maintaining the privacy and security of company information and assets. Teamwork is highly valued, with a strong emphasis on supporting colleagues respectfully and working collaboratively to achieve common goals. The role demands physical capabilities such as lifting, moving, and handling objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and maneuvering in various work environments including stairs and ramps.

Effective communication skills, including clear and professional language usage and proper telephone etiquette, are essential. The employee will greet and recognize all guests according to company standards, contributing to the welcoming atmosphere JW Marriott is famous for. Additional reasonable duties will be assigned by supervisors to support overall operations.
