This non-management, full-time position offers an hourly wage of $18.20 and is tip eligible. The role primarily involves performing closing duties such as securely storing reusable merchandise, dismantling equipment, cleaning all kitchen areas and equipment, restocking items, locking refrigerators and doors, and completing daily cleaning checklists. Maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the workday is also essential, along with inspecting the cleanliness and presentation of tableware, glassware, and silverware before use. The role requires adherence to Marriott's safety policies and procedures, timely reporting of maintenance issues and safety hazards, and completion of relevant safety training and certifications.

Additionally, the employee must uphold a professional appearance and ensure company property privacy and protection. Collaboration and respect toward coworkers are paramount, as well as supporting team efforts to meet common goals. The position demands physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and transporting objects up to 50 pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, and maneuvering across various floor surfaces and staircases. Effective communication skills, including clear speech and phone etiquette, are also important to this role.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • no previous supervisory experience required
  • no licenses or certifications required
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • physical capability to lift, move, push, drag, and place objects up to 50 pounds
  • ability to reach overhead, bend, twist, and maneuver on various floor surfaces
