Currently, Sodexo is seeking a part-time Dining Room Attendant to join their team at Hardin-Simmons University. This position offers varying shifts with open availability preferred and provides an hourly wage ranging from $10 to $15. The Dining Room Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the dining environment is welcoming, clean, and efficiently managed. Responsibilities include assisting servers by setting tables neatly with clean napkins, china, and glassware, pouring water for guests, clearing and cleaning tables promptly, and serving when necessary. Your role directly enhances the dining experience, bringing smiles and satisfaction to every guest through attentive, friendly, and professional service.

Job Duties

  • Assist servers in the dining room including setting tables with clean napkins, china and glassware, pouring water for guests and clearing/cleaning tables, and serving when needed
  • Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to dining guests
  • Removes dirty dishes, linen, glassware and flatware from table and counter tops, and transports items to designated area
  • Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned according to business necessities and client requirements
