Located at Marquette University - Jesuit Residence, the Dining Room Attendant role offers a meaningful opportunity to become part of Sodexo’s mission by directly impacting the quality of life for dining guests. As a Dining Room Attendant at Sodexo, you serve as both a warm-welcomer and an experience ambassador, ensuring that every guest receives attentive, courteous service that enhances their dining experience.

This role involves a range of responsibilities including assisting servers by setting tables with clean napkins, china, and glassware, pouring water for guests, and clearing and cleaning tables efficiently. Attendants also remove dirty dishes, linen, glassware, and flatware from tables and countertops and transport them to designated areas. Additionally, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment and showing reliability by attending scheduled shifts punctually are key to success in this position. Job Duties

  • Assist servers in the dining room including setting tables with clean napkins, China and glassware, pouring water for guests and clearing and cleaning tables, and serving when needed
  • Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to dining guests
  • Remove dirty dishes, linen, glassware and flatware from tables and countertops, and transport items to designated area
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
  • Maintain a clean and safe dining environment
