The Dining Manager position at Grand Living plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall dining experience for residents by providing outstanding management and specialized fine dining training to Front of House employees. This position demands a dedicated professional who can effectively coordinate culinary and dining activities across a variety of venues including the Bistro, Casual and Formal dining areas, Luminations Memory Care, Room Service, and the exclusive Club Room. Additionally, the Dining Manager oversees the seamless execution of special events and private functions, ensuring a superior level of service consistent with the Sterling Touch® standard. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, this role upholds community standards, procedures, and philosophies to deliver a professional, friendly, courteous, and timely dining experience.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- associates in culinary arts or hospitality management or similar major or culinary diploma highly preferred
- any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from culinary school or relevant training
- culinary or apprenticeship program preferred
- three or more years experience managing food and beverage or front of house in a country club, fine dining restaurant, or upscale senior living environment
- ability to read, write, and understand English
- ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously without extended sitting
- ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- enhance the overall resident dining experience through exceptional management and fine dining training to front of house employees
- uphold service standards across all dining venues including bistro, casual, formal, luminations memory care, room service, and club room
- coordinate culinary and dining activities for special events and private functions
- ensure all services are delivered in a professional, friendly, courteous, helpful, and timely manner
- work under general guidance of the executive chef to maintain community standards, processes, procedures, practices, and philosophies
- supervise, hire, and train kitchen and front of house staff
- monitor and maintain quality and presentation of food and customer service
