The Dining Manager position at Fooda is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all facets of the Fooda cafeteria operations at a single location. This role ensures the efficient, profitable, and smooth day-to-day management of the dining hall, maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and customer satisfaction. The Dining Manager acts as the direct liaison between Fooda and its client, ensuring the food program meets client expectations and runs seamlessly. Key responsibilities include managing multiple restaurant stations, supervising staff, controlling inventory, handling financial and operational reporting, and ensuring compliance with Fooda’s service and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, solution-oriented individual with strong leadership skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and experience in large-scale food service or enterprise catering. A Bachelor’s degree with five to eight years of relevant experience is preferred. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range between $62,000 and $65,000, along with comprehensive benefits supporting health, retirement, and work-life balance.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Day-to-day operations of a single-unit location with multiple stations on a daily basis ensure the service experience of Fooda is consistently offered to all customers
  • monitor the set-up, restock and breakdown of cafeteria daily
  • oversee daily arrival and set up of all restaurants holding them to Fooda standards of service and sanitation
  • inventory management and ordering of grab and go food products, beverages, and snacks
  • bi-monthly inventory and P&L accountability
  • ensuring all customers are rung up and properly charged for goods purchased
  • update and maintain POS software and database on a daily basis
  • recruit, schedule, and train of hourly staff
  • weekly accounting responsibilities and accurate entry into Fooda systems
  • escalate issues to director when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
