As a Dining Host/Hostess at Miller's Ale House, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant. Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and acknowledge those within five feet
- seat guests according to their preferences and rotate seating to ensure even workloads for servers
- provide departing guests with a warm farewell and invitation to return
- assist service team with bussing dishes and resetting tables
- coordinate guest placement to enhance experience and safety
- communicate accurate wait times and offer waitlist solutions
- answer incoming restaurant calls in a friendly, professional manner
- maintain an organized and clean workstation and entrance
- complete host opening and closing sidework tasks
- ensure restrooms are stocked and maintained
- keep communication open with team members and management
- handle side work and ensure stations are stocked
- promptly notify management of any guest or team member issues
