The role of Dining Host at Main Event Entertainment is an essential position focused on guiding guests through their dining journey and enhancing the overall atmosphere in the dining room and bar area. As a Dining Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment they arrive until they leave. This role demands proactive communication with the serving team and management to ensure efficient seating arrangements and an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities include managing the waitlist, seating guests promptly, and maintaining open lines of communication with servers to guarantee seamless service delivery. Job Duties
- Upholding cleanliness and safety standards
- Welcome and greet dining guests while gathering visit details
- Perform table management and keep the waitlist updated
- Seat guests or hand them off to another host
- Communicate with servers and guests using table touches to ensure seamless experience
- Thank guests for coming and welcome them back
- Perform opening, mid-day, or closing duties
