The Dining Host role at Main Event is a pivotal position responsible for guiding guests through their dining experience in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. This position involves greeting and seating guests, managing waitlists, maintaining communication with servers and management, and ensuring all standards of safety and sanitation are met. As the first point of contact for guests entering the dining area, the Dining Host plays a critical role in creating positive first impressions that set the tone for the overall visit. This job requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a guest-focused mindset to maintain seamless service flow.

Dining Hosts at Main Event support the dining room and bar area by upholding cleanliness and safety standards, welcoming guests warmly, and assisting with table management. The role includes performing various opening, mid-day, or closing duties to ensure the dining environment is well-maintained and operations run smoothly throughout the day. A successful Dining Host will demonstrate attentiveness to detail, the ability to solve problems quickly, and cooperate effectively with team members and managers. This is an hourly, part-time or full-time position with a salary range of approximately $15.15 to $15.55 per hour.
