Dining Attendant (Server)

We are currently seeking a dedicated Server to join our team at Barclay House of Stuart, one of our premier senior living communities. The Server role plays a crucial part in ensuring that all residents and guests enjoy gracious hospitality and a pleasant dining experience. This position involves assisting in the bar and coffee shop areas as scheduled, guiding guests through menus with thorough knowledge of food and beverages, and maintaining high standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health in all dining areas. Servers will take accurate orders and collaborate closely with team members to deliver prompt, world-class service while ensuring that tables are set and reset according to company standards. Additionally, the role may involve helping with meal preparation, maintaining stock levels in the bar and coffee shop, and supporting special events and activities.

Candidates for this role must possess a caring heart and a strong willingness to serve others, especially within a senior living environment. A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with ServSafe Certification and food service/hospitality experience. Preference is given to those with bar card certification if applicable by state, familiarity with POS systems, and the flexibility to work a variety of shifts including holidays, weekends, and special events. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with staff and residents.
