Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of food preparation experience preferred
- efficient keyboarding and 10-keying skill
- excellent communication skills including ability to work well with personnel and vendors, resolve problems, and demonstrate active listening and speaking skills
- customer service oriented
- professional appearance
- valid Kansas Driver’s License
- acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- ability to work 15-35 hours per week during diner hours from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday
- availability and willingness to work overtime hours as needed
- ability to stand frequently
- ability to use hand dexterity frequently
- able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally
- able to work in indoor environment with occasional noise, odors, dust, and fumes
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet customers and actively seek to engage and develop rapport with customers
- take food orders and payment
- prepare food orders including making salads, sandwiches, wraps, and pizzas
- wrap or place food in containers for carryout
- dish out vegetables, ladle sauce, soups, and fill beverage glasses
- stock items
- clean diner area including wiping down counters and cleaning dishes according to Kansas health standards
- enter data including keeping track of employee tabs, adding new employees into system, and entering orders
