Rooted deeply in the culture of the Southern United States, Whataburger prides itself on delivering not only delicious, made-to-order burgers but also exceptional customer service and a vibrant team environment. Whataburger is much more than just a burger chain - it is a place where bold leadership begins and where every team member can grow and thrive. The company invests heavily in its people, fostering a culture that encourages integrity, heart, and bringing one’s best flavor to work every day. At Whataburger, the workplace is about collaboration, open communication, fun, and a collective commitment to winning as one cohesive team. The company’s philosophy is built on great ingredients, both in its food and its workforce, creating opportunities for learning, growth, and making a significant impact in the fast-casual dining industry. For those ready to embrace challenges, advance their careers, and embrace the company’s mission to move forward boldly, Whataburger offers an exciting and supportive environment with a clear path for success.
This role is for a Digital Product & eCommerce Senior Director based at Whataburger's San Antonio Home Office. This senior leadership position is critical in defining and steering the company's digital commerce vision across multiple platforms, including web, mobile app, kiosk, and third-party marketplace experiences. The Digital Product & eCommerce Senior Director will play a pivotal role in driving growth by crafting seamless, user-friendly, guest-centric ordering experiences that reflect Whataburger’s brand and excellence. The position involves collaboration with various departments—Operations, Marketing, Technology, and restaurant teams—to ensure that digital products are functional and enhance real-world business operations. The successful candidate will lead innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the digital commerce ecosystem, ensuring that Whataburger stays at the forefront of the fast-food industry's technological advancements. This full-time role provides competitive weekly pay and a bonus program with up to 2.5X payout potential, along with extensive benefits, including 5 weeks of paid time off, flexible workweeks, paid corporate holidays, and paid parental leave. The position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with occasional travel and on-site work from Monday to Thursday, with remote work on Fridays. Ideal candidates are experienced digital commerce leaders with proven success in product strategy, customer experience, and cross-functional team management within fast-paced, high-volume environments like quick-service restaurants or retail sectors.
