Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition/dietetics
  • Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) certification
  • Licensed to practice in Washington DC
  • Completion of a dietetic internship
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Conduct nutritional assessments of patients to determine dietary needs
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition intervention plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate nutrition care into patient treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic diets and healthy eating habits
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
