Sevita itself stands as a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care in the United States, with over 40,000 team members dedicated to enriching the lives of approximately 50,000 individuals nationwide. Founded on a mission that has endured for more than 50 years, Sevita champions the principle that everyone deserves the opportunity to lead a full and independent life. This guiding philosophy inspires continual innovation and improvement in service delivery, fostering growth and self-sufficiency regardless of the physical, intellectual, or behavioral challenges clients may encounter.

NeuroRestorative seeks to fill the role of a Dietary/Kitchen Aide on a part-time basis, offering compensation ranging from $18 to $20 per hour. This role is integral to the kitchen team and involves assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to individuals receiving services. The position also includes maintaining the cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment that upholds the personal dignity of those served. The Dietary/Kitchen Aide will engage in on-the-job training to develop standard dietary skills and will be expected to adhere to stringent departmental policies and procedures related to food preparation and safety.

This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about contributing to the rehabilitation community by supporting nutritional and dietary needs. The ideal candidate will ensure that all food is prepared and presented following established standards, manage food supply inventories, and keep all kitchen equipment and utensils sanitized and in optimal condition. Additionally, this position requires vigilance in reporting hazardous conditions and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a secure workplace. The Dietary/Kitchen Aide also plays a key role in respecting and promoting the rights and independence of individuals served, championing dignity, choice, and empowerment.

No prior supervisory responsibilities are required, making this position suitable for candidates looking to cultivate skills in health care-related food services. Candidates with a High School diploma or equivalent will find this opportunity to develop valuable skills within a supportive, mission-driven organization. Serve Safe certification is preferred, enhancing a candidate's readiness to meet food safety standards. Moreover, the physical demands of this position classify it as medium work, requiring the ability to exert varying levels of force to move objects occasionally. NeuroRestorative is committed to inclusivity and complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act, providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals as needed.
