Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
- Experience in food service or dietary-related role preferred
- Fluency in English required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with computers and telephone systems
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service and/or call center experience preferred
- Experience in food service, dietary clerk, or related field preferred
- Fluent communication in English required, bilingual or multilingual a plus
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Comfortable using technology including web-based software, keyboard, and telephone headset
- Typing proficiency of 35 - 45 wpm
- Flexible and adaptable to change
Job Duties
- Function comfortably in a fast-paced, performance-based call center environment
- Maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
- Adapt to customer needs
- Answer phones and take menu orders related to patient meals
- Use software to record patient orders accurately
- Maintain general knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure proper meal processing
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and Food & Nutrition team to ensure accurate patient nutrition
- Maintain confidentiality, safety, and sanitation standards
- Comply with ARAMARK's standards of operation and business conduct policy, ensuring records and reports meet all regulations
