Dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents and patients, HCSG prides itself on delivering exceptional culinary experiences tailored to meet the unique dietary and nutritional needs of every individual they serve. With a steadfast commitment to excellence, innovation, and compassionate service, HCSG supports long-term care facilities by creating menus that are both nutritious and appealing, ensuring residents enjoy wholesome meals daily.
Joining HCSG as a Cook means becoming part of a passionate team that values responsibility, teamwork, and making a positive impact on the communities they serve. As a Cook within a long-term care setting, you play a vital role in preparing and cooking nutritious meals that meet specific dietary requirements and safety standards. This role offers a competitive starting pay rate of USD $19.44 per hour, alongside a host of employee benefits designed to support your health, well-being, and professional growth.
In this role, you are expected to meticulously prepare meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes, ensuring each plate meets HCSG's high standards for quality, taste, and presentation. Food safety is paramount; therefore, adherence to rigorous sanitation and safety guidelines is essential to maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment. Beyond cooking, you will assist with inventory management and ordering supplies, contributing to the efficient operation of the kitchen. Strong interpersonal skills are important, as positive interactions with residents, facility staff, and guests enhance the overall dining experience and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
HCSG values continuous learning and career development. Employees have access to hands-on training and support, enabling them to refine their culinary skills and advance within the company. The organization also offers free telemedicine services, prescription discount programs, employee assistance programs, and financial wellness support, reflecting a comprehensive approach to employee care. With programs like PNC EarnedIt, employees can access earned wages when needed, promoting financial flexibility and security.
