Located in Granite Bay, California, NeuroRestorative’s facility on Sierra Ponds Lane is currently seeking a dedicated and versatile professional for the dual role of Dietary Cook and Housekeeper. This position operates on a per diem basis, with shifts on Saturdays and Sundays lasting 10 hours each, including overtime pay after the eighth hour. The competitive pay range is $17 to $19.50 per hour, with overtime rates ranging from $22 to $25.66 per hour, reflecting the organization's commitment to fair compensation. Job Duties

  • review work orders to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared according to patients diet
  • prepare, season, and cook food
  • inspect food storage and direct sanitary maintenance of kitchen and storage facilities
  • review and adjust menu accordingly
  • determine food quantities, labor, and overhead costs
  • chart and communicate to nurses patients intake percentages of food and beverages
  • clean and maintain all common areas including rooms, hallways, restrooms, windows, woodwork, light fixtures, and other work areas
  • maintain and clean floor surfaces, furniture, draperies, use shampooers, and empty trash receptacles
  • follow universal precautions and procedures regarding cleaners, hazardous materials, and infection control
  • disinfect equipment and supplies
