The role available at NeuroRestorative in Granite Bay, CA, is a dual position combining the responsibilities of a Dietary Cook and Housekeeper within their facility located on Sierra Ponds Lane. This per diem position offers shifts during the weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday, with each shift lasting 10 hours and the opportunity for overtime pay after eight hours. The pay scale ranges from $17 to $19.50 per hour at the base rate and $22 to $25.66 per hour for overtime, supplemented by the convenience of pay on demand.

Job Duties

  • Review work orders to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared according to patients diet
  • Prepare, season, and cook food
  • Inspect food storage and direct sanitary maintenance of kitchen and storage facilities
  • Review and adjust menu accordingly
  • Determine food quantities, labor, and overhead costs
  • Chart and communicate to nurses patients intake percentages of food and beverages
  • Clean and maintain all common areas including rooms, hallways, restrooms, windows, woodwork, light fixtures, and other work areas so that health standards are met and the home is neat and debris-free
