Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Relevant cooking or culinary experience preferred
Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including lifting and standing for long periods
Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and schedules

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a cook in a dietary or institutional setting preferred
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion controls
Strong time management and multitasking skills
Ability to work well within a team and take leadership when needed
Good physical stamina to perform kitchen-related tasks

Job Duties

Prepare all menu items according to standardized recipes in a safe and sanitary manner
Suggest creative ways to utilize leftovers and manage overstock efficiently
Accurately prepare, portion, and serve meals based on recipes and dietary plans
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas according to health standards
Safely lift, bend, and twist as needed during food preparation
Follow menus and recipes to consistently produce high-quality meals
Ensure meals are prepared and served on time
