We are currently looking to add a Dietary Cook to our team on a PRN (pro re nata, as needed) basis. This is a vital role focused on preparing meals with the utmost attention to nutrition, safety, and taste. The Dietary Cook will play a key role in supporting our residents’ health by ensuring every meal is prepared according to standardized recipes and dietary guidelines. You will be responsible for managing ingredients, including creatively utilizing leftovers and controlling overstock, which helps reduce food waste and operating costs. This position requires a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adheres strictly to food safety and sanitation standards.

As a Dietary Cook, you will contribute directly to the quality of life of our residents through the meals you prepare. You will work closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure proper food handling and timely service. This role demands a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing kitchen needs. You will also be involved in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace, performing physical tasks such as lifting and bending safely, which are essential parts of the job.
