ResCare Community Living is currently seeking a skilled Dietary and Food Cook who shares our passion for improving lives through compassionate and effective service. This role is crucial in supporting our mission by coordinating menus and preparing nutritious, balanced meals for individuals receiving our services. As a Dietary and Food Cook, you will apply your culinary skills to review work orders, prepare and season food, and ensure that all food meets quality standards. You will be responsible for carving portions of meat, fish, or fowl, inspecting food storage, and maintaining sanitary conditions in the kitchen and food storage areas to comply with health regulations.

This position requires not just culinary expertise but also strong organizational skills to oversee and coordinate the activities of kitchen workers. Menu planning and food quantity determination are additional essential components of the role, where you will manage labor and overhead costs to maximize efficiency without compromising quality.
