Working closely with the Dining Director, the Dietary Aide/Waitstaff helps ensure resident satisfaction by delivering attentive service and promoting engaging and positive dining programs.

This position is offered on a part-time or per diem basis with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $17.00, based on experience. The Dietary Aide/Waitstaff role involves direct interaction with residents, guests, and staff, requiring excellent communication skills and a caring, attentive approach. The position demands someone who takes pride in maintaining PSL standards for dining service such as setting tables, serving beverages, reviewing menus with residents, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction in all dining-related activities. The role also requires adherence to all NYS Department of Health and CDC guidelines relating to COVID-19, ensuring a safe environment for both residents and staff.

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a minimum of one year of experience in the food service industry. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with residents, families, and other team members are crucial for success in this role. Peregrine Senior Living values diversity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer committed to prohibiting discrimination or harassment of any kind based on protected characteristics as outlined by federal, state, or local laws. Every hiring decision is grounded in qualifications, merit, and business needs.
