Harmony Healthcare is currently seeking dedicated, courteous, and detail-oriented Servers to join their team. The Server position plays a vital role in enhancing the dining experience for residents and guests by providing attentive meal service and ensuring the dining room is clean and prepared for all meal times. This role requires more than just serving food; it demands understanding and meeting the individual needs of residents, especially those with mobility challenges or memory impairments, reflecting Harmony’s compassionate approach to care.

Servers at Harmony assist residents in placing their orders from the menu, serve beverages such as water, iced tea, juices, milk, coffee, and tea, and are responsible for keeping salt, pepper, and sugar bowls refilled. They ensure sit-down service standards are met, understand proper serving techniques, and maintain knowledge of basic food preparation and food safety standards like correct storage and labeling. Physical tasks include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming the kitchen and dining areas after meals, and assisting with tray service when needed. The role is highly interactive and requires a polite and considerate demeanor when communicating with residents, guests, co-workers, and supervisors.

Employees are expected to adhere to confidentiality policies concerning resident information and attend all required in-services and staff meetings. The position demands flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays along with physical stamina for standing and walking for extended periods and handling up to 50 lbs regularly.
