Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food service or hospitality is an advantage

Job Duties
- Serve resident and guest meals courteously
- assist residents with menu orders
- provide beverage service including water, iced tea, juices, milk, coffee, and tea
- refill salt, pepper, and sugar bowls before and after meals
- report broken equipment or tableware to supervisor
- understand sit-down service and proper serving techniques
- maintain knowledge of food preparation and proper food storage and labeling
- clean dining room and kitchen including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- attend required in-services and staff meetings
- assist with tray service
- follow confidentiality policies
- interact politely with residents, guests, co-workers, and supervisors
