The company operates multiple communities designed to meet the unique needs of seniors, with an emphasis on dignity, respect, and quality of life.

As a Dietary Aide at Auberge, you will play an essential role within the Culinary Services team, assisting the Culinary Services Coordinator and Cook in the preparation, delivery, and maintenance of meals for residents. The position focuses on maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment while ensuring that meals are served promptly and according to dietary specifications. This role requires a high degree of tact, sensitivity, and professionalism, especially as it involves working closely with elderly residents, some of whom may have dementia or other special needs.

The Dietary Aide contributes significantly to the overall wellness and satisfaction of residents by supporting the food service operation's smooth functioning. This part-time position offers competitive benefits including daily access to pay with ZayZoon, provided uniforms, employee discounts, employee appreciation events, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), paid time off, and holiday worked premium pay. Auberge is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion, committed to providing a safe and welcoming workplace for all employees regardless of their background or identity. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic reading and writing skills, effective communication in English, and preferably prior experience in food service and working with elderly or dementia patients.

Physical demands of the Dietary Aide position include standing, walking, bending, and squatting for extended periods, as well as the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds comfortably. Additionally, holding a Food Service Sanitation certificate that complies with state or local requirements is necessary for this role. Auberge is dedicated to accommodating applicants with disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act (ADAAA), ensuring equal opportunity in the hiring process. By joining Auberge as a Dietary Aide, you will become part of a team focused on enhancing the lives of seniors through compassionate food service and teamwork, all in a positive and enriching work environment.
